Topics to include: Lateral work for all levels Improving balance with caveletti Rider biomechanics for more effective aids Bandaging Equine Emergency Triage - Getting a horse uncast, wound care & more Round pen basics Equine body work at home Feeding the modern equine And maybe a craft, because, what's camp without a craft!
More Details: Move in can begin at 4:00 on Friday afternoon. Stabling: large, outdoor drylots with metal panels. Limited indoor stalls available upon request. Pens need to be cleaned at the end of camp. Friday Potluck: Bring a prepared dish to share. We will have a few coolers and a camp stove available. Water and pop provided. Camping: You are not expected to spend the night. No trailer hookups available. Childcare is provided onsite during clinic hours by a group of 13 yr olds who have their Red Cross babysitter certification. Food not provided. Kids will enjoy games, crafts and fun!
